Are you HANGRY?

Have you ever felt this way, or known someone else who has?  You’re going along just fine and then, BAM!  Out of nowhere you suddenly can’t stand anyone or anything, and you need to eat NOW!  By now, I mean you need to eat 20 minutes ago and you’d better get out of my way and not look at me sideways!   This, my friends would be the result of blood sugar crashing. What happens next is you find the first thing you can get in your mouth to bring your blood sugar levels back up to keep your brain functioning…. usually something sweet because it is the fastest to respond. So you grab that candy bar at the checkout line and munch it down in the car on the way to the next item on your agenda for the day. You go along feeling pretty good until an hour or so later when your blood sugar comes crashing back down again and the cycle repeats itself, and you reach for the next sugary item.

If this is happening to you regularly then you would definitely benefit from a sugar detox.  Taking a break from the yo-yo of low blood sugar can not only reset your body and how it responds to sugar, but it can reset your palette too.  After the 3 week detox you will find that foods you once thought somewhat boring are now FULL of flavor and bursting with sweetness, even a granny smith apple!

Can you imagine feeling so good?  I hope so!  Your body is just waiting for you to give it the fuel it needs to reward you with the energy you are capable of having, and the life that you deserve. Hangry does not have to be your normal.
